The stepsister is in a rush, and she collides with her stepbrother and sends iced coffee down his shirt. He cannot believe it. She apologizes, explains that she has a job interview in twenty minutes and swears it was an accident. He points out that it was his only clean shirt, and she snaps that he should not block doorways as if he owns the place.
Their father steps in and asks whether the story is true, then wants them moving. She insists once more it was an accident, and the stepbrother says she will pay for this. The episode ends on her side of the line: she tells a friend she hates her stepbrother, then concedes that his stare was kind of cute.
Episode 2: a chore with a price on it
Episode 2 is where the debt gets collected. It works like a bet between friends where the stake keeps rising. The morning starts noisy, and the stepsister protests at the racket. The stepbrother walks in and delivers the news that Dad wants the car washed, and that she is the one doing it, since she still owes him for the last morning, unless she prefers to settle the debt another way.
She answers with disgust. He shrugs and warns that Dad will be angry, and she gives in. He says he has set it all up for her, she calls it unbelievable, and he tells her to watch out. The episode ends on her outraged complaint and an insult, so the free pair closes on a prank landing, not a kiss.
