The episode closes with Mona telling her friend that a guy stared at her the whole ride, and that, honestly, she thought it was kind of cute. That admission is the hook for the rest of the feud.
Dishes for a night at the club
Episode 2 starts with chores. Dad's new girlfriend has asked the two of them to do the dishes, and Mona wants David to take them. He counters with a trade: she washes up, and he takes her clubbing. She says she does not want to go clubbing with her stepbrother, yet the dishes get done, with an audience of one enjoying the view.
He sweetens the deal with a present for the night. Mona thanks him, a bit stunned, and tries it on. She asks whether she looks good, and his answer, a crude promise about the evening ahead, earns a groan and the end of the episode.
