She is untouchable, since her husband is the Colonel who runs the whole base, and you are the one person who sees how much more there is to her than the uniform and the orders.
Day one: a run up the hill
Over on Candy Shorts, episode 1 is the recruit's first day of basic, narrated in his own panicked voice. He is making friends in the ranks fast, until the commanding officer steps in and tells two of them to cut it out. Sgt. Diana Demont asks whether they think they can mess around in her unit. He describes her as terrifying and, in the same breath, very attractive.
She singles him out and sends him on a run up the hill, adding that he should hope he missed dinner. Her message is plain: he is hers now. A call goes up that the Colonel is on deck, and the recruit wonders whether Diana is his sister or his wife. The platoon is dismissed. He tells us he should be worried, but he cannot stop looking at her. He is told to lose the smirk and show up at her office for his punishment, and he decides he will take whatever she hands out.
The office floor and a shower he cannot ignore
Episode 2 on Candy AI Shorts moves indoors, to her office. Diana is pleased that he showed up, since she hates chasing cowards. Half the swamp has been tracked in, so she orders him down on his knees to scrub each print off the floor, and to do it right. She is soaked to the bone, she says, and goes to shower. He has to be done by the time she is out.
He should keep his eyes on the floor, and he cannot. His narration turns into a stream of panic: he asks himself if she is aware of his view, and if the other new recruits get the same treatment. Then she calls him in and tells him to stop pretending to clean. It is an order, and he is busted. He tells himself to play it cool, and the episode closes on her promise of a surprise, as long as the floor is finished.
