You play the stepbrother, left at home with Mona for an afternoon. Once she stops holding back, the day turns into a run of discovery for both of you. Then someone catches you, and you find out where her streak comes from: her own mother, your stepmom. The cast is depicted as 18+ adults in fictional scenes: Mona, her stepbrother and their stepmom.
Episode 1: a bathroom face-off
I watched it with Premium, since the lock leaves a free login no way in. Episode 1 starts when the stepbrother walks into the bathroom and runs into Mona, who is in no hurry to act embarrassed. The two trade barbs, and she is the one setting the pace: she stays put, teases him and treats the interruption as an invitation. He ends up seeing more of her than he planned, and instead of retreating he is pulled in. Soaked from the standoff, he has to peel off his wet clothes, and he joins her. The scene turns physical right as the episode ends.
A standoff like this is air hockey with a single puck: two players, one small space, and the puck is going to move. The pacing is quick, and the scene earns its title within the first minutes of this Candy Shorts series.
Episode 2: their stepmom walks in
Episode 2 picks up inside the same bathroom, with the pair already well into it. The tone is playful and careless, two stepsiblings who have decided the empty house is theirs. Then the door opens and their stepmom comes in, expecting only a shower. She finds the two of them and does not look away. That is the moment the title's family streak starts to make sense, since the story says Mona's instincts come straight from her. I stop there, because episodes 3 to 5 stay unspoiled here.

Three people make up the cast: Mona, her stepbrother and their stepmom. Mona is the sole name I can vouch for. The stepbrother is the viewer's stand-in, and the stepmom is only ever the stepmom. Skip it if the bathroom scenes were enough for you, since the premise on Candy.ai is one empty afternoon and the first episode already delivers on it.
